Last week, representatives from the Kuala Lumpur Metro Group and Menteri Besar Incorporated shook hands on the approved plans for the Lexis Hibiscus 2. Soon to be built adjacent to Lexis Hibiscus in Port Dickson, the 5-star resort will boast amenities such as:

  • a sunken aquarium & restaurant
  • 760 rooms (582 water villas & 178 sky pool villas)
  • Hibiscus Walk, a shopping & dining destination
  • a helipad
  • a musical fountain
  • meeting rooms
  • the largest ballroom in Negeri Sembilan (accommodates 2000 pax)
  • and much more.

President of the People's Justice Party and member of parliament for Port Dickson YB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim played witness at the official signing ceremony in Port Dickson. Other VIPs included Mandy Chew, president of Lexis Hotel Group; Dato’ Dr Razali, Secretary to the State Government of Negeri Sembilan; Dato’ Seri Haji Aminuddin Bin Harun, chief minister of Negeri Sembilan; Dato’ Low Tak Fatt, managing director of Kuala Lumpur Metro Group; and Dato’ Yap Chuan Thai, executive director of Kuala Lumpur Metro Group.

Targeting tourists from Asia Pacific and the Middle East, the Lexis Hibiscus 2 aims to attract some 400,000 tourists annually, which will translate to RM240 million ringgit per annum in tourist receipts.

Lexis Hibiscus 2 will emulate the success of Lexis Hibiscus, and is set to surpass the former's current positioning as the largest water homes development in the world.
