Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur's Lounge on the Park welcomes Italian chocolatier Gianluca Fusto for a special chocolate afternoon tea session from September 7 to 10.
The patissier and chocolate maker will work with world renowned chocolate brand Valrhona, introducing a variety of sweet and savoury treats throughout the tea time experience.
Diners can look forward to seven different pastries alongside five finger sandwiches that playfully sneaks in chocolate as well.
Fusto has won the Pastry Chef of the Year 2011 by coffee brand Lavazza that earned him an honourable member of the Italian Academy of Pastry Chefs. He has also joined Valrhona's Italian division as a consultant in 2003 and offers both consulting and training services in the fine pastry field.
The Valrhona Chocolate Afternoon Tea is priced at RM 148 nett per stand and RM 198 nett per stand inclusive of a mini bottle of Moet champagne.
While Fusto will only be in residence from September 7 to 10, the chocolate afternoon tea promotion will last until October 1.
