Guest chef Prasert Sussadeewong from Mandarin Oriental Bangkok will be serving his signature Thai specialities for one-week only at Mosaic restaurant.

Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur's all-day restaurant Mosaic will see a Thai makeover from July 16 to 22, as guest chef Prasert Sussadeewong will be preparing a large assortment of Thai delicacies for guests to enjoy à la buffet.

Start the meal with classics such as som tam goong (spicy shredded green papaya salad with grilled prawn) and yaam puu nim gub mamuang (spiced soft shell crab salad with green mango) before moving on to tom yaam goong and thod mun pla (deep fried curry fish patties).

While familiar favourites make an appearance, other uncommon Thai delicacies also make the cut, such as gaeng gari gae (yellow lamb curry with onion and potato), goong phad naam prig pow (stir-fried prawns with chilli jam and sweet basil leaves) and many more dishes to try out.

To end the meal, a selection of Thai sweets the likes of tub tim grob (water chestnut rubies in sweetened coconut milk) and mango sticky rice, amongst others, are up for grabs.

This limited buffet is priced at RM168 per person for lunch and RM218 per person for dinner. For dining reservations, contact 03 2179 8797/8798 or email mokul-fb@mohg.com.
