The gods of marketing may decree one day a year devoted to mum, but Shangri-La KL is offering up a whole month (although it reminds us to celebrate all mothers all year round). 

This May, dining treats and promotions hotel-wide will give you ample opportunity to make your mum feel special. 

The Lobby Lounge will be serving Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea from 3pm to 6pm making every day your mother’s day. The savouries on offer include aubergine caviar with ricotta panna cotta, snow crab maki with miso aioli and smoked duck with tomato confit and tapenade; but mum’s with a sweet tooth can look forward to the Red Velvet cookies and cream with rasberries, Grand Cru chocolate and the classic scones (with green tea variants) with strawberry jam and mascarpone cream.

As for the actual mandated Mother’s Day on May 14 (you should know this), Lemon Garden will be serving a sumptuous spread at their brunch buffet, from noon to 3pm with an array of Asian and Western delicacies, fresh seafood and desserts.

Finally, Lemon Garden 2Go will be offering an assorted variety of Mother’s Day cakes and cupcakes, designer cookies, strawberry tarts, classic apple pies, love box pralines with roses, and more from now till 13 May 2017.

The month-long afternoon tea is priced at RM90 nett per set, while the Mother’s Day brunch is priced at RM168 nett per person.
