A family-run company specialising in ceremonial matcha, Oh Cha Matcha turns a year old in March 2021—a feat worth celebrating, especially during a global pandemic.
The brand's fans and friends include other food and beverage operators, with whom they are teaming up to present The Ultimate Matcha Box. "It's been a logistical nightmare, trying to coordinate deliveries with 10 different brands," laughs co-founder Kar Heng. "But we've managed to get around it. I'm so happy that everyone has been willing to be part of this."

Presented in a cake box decked out with artwork by illustrator Miss Eleen, the goodies are Oh Cha Matcha's way of giving back to the community. Albeit going through a tough time in the past year, the owners realise that many are worse off. As such, proceeds from their one-year anniversary project will be channeled towards the National Cancer Society Malaysia.
