From June 1 to June 20, St Regis Kuala Lumpur will be the venue for diners to enjoy a spread that is as impressive as it is indulgent.

When the ultra luxury hotel St Regis KL puts together a buffet spread, you can expect said buffet to meet every definition of the word ‘luxury’ -- and with a multitude of variety for a bevy of foods, this buffet meets the expectation and then some. 

From June 1 to June 20, The Astor Room will be the venue for diners to enjoy a spread that is as impressive as it is indulgent. The buffet not only offers a wide range of available food from the customary dates, to the rendang, to the palate cleansing fruits, but a wide variety within those foods themselves – there are 17 different varieties od dates and over 20 types of mangoes. The rendang however, remains authentically local.

The buffet is spread across multiple stations that line the sides of the Astor Room, allowing you on a culinary trip from the lamb carving station to Chef Halim’s signature biryani and from the Roti John station to the pandan waffles and homemade ice cream station.

As eye-catching as the entire spread is, the real show stoppers are the two, 3-metre high, 2 metre-wide customised carts that serve the dessert as well as something a little more out of the ordinary. The second cart holds a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables that any diner can pick out and have them squeezed into a fresh juice or smoothie. Beets, pomegranates, pears, apples, carrots, and broccoli are just a few things you can apply your creativity to, to create a (hopefully) delicious drink.
