For the next guest chef series, Ginza Tenkuni at The St Regis Kuala Lumpur will host three Michelin starred restaurant Taian for a special kaiseki omakase course.

Famous tempura restaurant Ginza Tenkuni at The St Regis Kuala Lumpur will feature a memorable kaiseki omakase meal by three Michelin starred chef Hitoshi Takahata on May 5 and 6.

Available for lunch and dinner, Taian's kaiseki meals, which are traditional multi-course meals that highlight the current seasonal ingredients found in Japanese cuisine, will cost RM1,700+ per person.

Based in Osaka, Japan, Taian is a three Michelin star restaurant that has retained its rating since 2011, a testament to their ongoing excellence.

Chef Takahata is known for his marriage of traditional and modern techniques to produce world class cuisine, as well as his signature miso paste and grilling skills.

One of his most well known dishes is the karasumi (dried mullet roe) with rice.
