To do justice to extraordinary whisky, The Macallan has redesigned a new look across its range of single malt whiskies that have rolled out globally.

The new design draws inspiration from The Macallan Rare Cask packaging, featuring a bottle design that is broad-shouldered with a distinct chevron cut into the bottle as it tapers towards the neck.

The bottle's outer packaging design also receives an update, boasting a new enclosure to ensure consumers get what they expect out of The Macallan.

This new look comes right in time for the whisky maker's all new travel retail range of bottles, exclusive to duty-free selections at airports such as KLIA and KLIA 2, dubbed The Macallan Quest Collection

The redesign comes following feedback from consumers and customers as The Macallan refines its portfolio to highlight a whisky for every occasion.

This also brings about an opportunity for the whisky maker to further refine their lineup, as The Fine Oak range (launched in 2004) receives a renaming to Triple Cask Matured, bringing it in line with Sherry Oak & Double Cask.

"We think the new bottle looks as good in a world-class bar as it does on a table at home being shared with friends," said Glen Gribbon, The Macallan's marketing director.

With a handsome new profile to house the excellent spirit, we couldn't agree more with Gribbon.
