Well-known downtown Italian eatery Prego at The Westin Kuala Lumpur welcomes a talented new chef to lead its culinary team.
Chef Ricky Parlanti, the new Italian chef de cuisine, comes from a long line of chefs and is currently a ninth generation cook from the Parlanti family.
With over 35 years of culinary experience, he will whip up dishes like the carbonara e castelmagno (carbonara in castelmagno cheese wheel), rissoto ai funghi selvatici e parmigiano (rissoto with wild mushrooms and parmesan cheese) and branzino in crosta di sale (salt-crusted sea bass) to name a few.
Diners can look forward to surprise menus that Chef Parlanti will introduce in the future, incorporating diners' preferences into his dishes and creating a personalised experience.
