Everyone knows chocolate cake, but cake chocolate?

Premium chocolatier Godiva is turning the tables with its latest Valentine’s Day Collection -- Buffet de Gâteaux, or the buffet of cakes.

Inspired by some well-known and well-loved cake recipes, and crafted by chef Yannick Chevolleau, the new collection is meant to mimic the servings at an afternoon tea, albeit in a far more decadent manner.

To complement its creations, Godiva tapped Sarajo Frieden, an American artist to design the whimsical packaging that are as delightful to look at as the chocolates it holds are to eat.

Strawberry Shortcake

Divine white chocolate and strawberry ganache shortcake paired with deliciously creamy strawberry velouté and enrobed in a premium white chocolate.

Shaped as an elegant conical pyramid, the piece boasts a duel filling of dark chocolate ganache and a light chocolate velouté, covered in a dark chocolate shell.

Rich New York lemon cheesecake ganache, covered in sumptuous GODIVA milk chocolate.

Madagascan dark chocolate & almond praline blended with white chocolate & almond praliné, covered with creamy milk chocolate.

Caramel crème brûlée ganache complemented by a rich crème ganache, infused with vanilla and smothered in premium milk chocolate.

White chocolate ganache infused with premium Japanese green tea and encased in dark chocolate pyramid shell.
