Have the luxury of breakfast any time of the day at these restaurants and cafes.

Weekends and off-days are best spent savouring a huge satisfying late breakfast after a good night out. It can be quite the bummer sometimes when we wake up just half an hour too late to catch the breakfast menu at our favourite brunch places. That worry is a thing of the past now with more and more places offering all-day breakfast so we can have our favourite sunny-side-ups and bacon no matter what time we crawl out of bed.

Here are our favourite 5 picks of places that cater to the Malaysian in us who eat any time of the day.

The Red Bean Bag
There are many reasons to love this place. It has a beautiful view of the Royal Palace from where the cafe is located at the Piazza of Publika, it has the current reigning Malaysian Barista Champion, Jason Loo, making its coffee and it opens until midnight. What we love most about this modern Austalian-inspired cafe, though, is its all-day breakfast menu which comes in huge portions. The place doesn't cut corners and uses only the freshest and highest quality ingredients when it comes to its famed eggs Benedict.

Urbean Cafe
A little gem nestled in the basement floor of Avenue K, Urbean is home to a modest urban kitchen that serves up food that is delicious as it is healthy. With a whole super food menu section, it makes for the ideal place for the health-conscious brunch-seeker who would still like value for money. Gluten-free food and amazing coffee aside, we love its all-day breakfast menu that hits all the right spots. Free WiFi makes it difficult to leave especially when you have a cup of Urbean's mocha latte in front of you.

Mr & Ms Cafe
This cafe went through one of the fastest growth spurts we've seen any new cafe go through. Established only in the middle of last year, it has already secured its spot as a favourite breakfast place among those living in the PJ area. It's no wonder why since everything on its menu -- its all-day breakfast sets included -- is made completely from scratch by its chef and co-owner, Alex Khor. It proudly boasts of a MSG-free and prepared-upon-order menu that is quite unrivalled by any place else.

The Bee
Known by its regulars as the neighbourhood food and drink hangout, The Bee is packed every weekend. Lucky thing its breakfast menu is served all-day long otherwise there will be many disappointed diners missing their breakfast after waiting for a table. Fuss-free food is their forte alongside quality coffee and friendly servers. A huge plus point is the regular gigs they host that provide a stage for many young and upcoming local talents.

Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf
[Editor's note: this is a non-halal establishment]: A veteran in the cafe dining scene, Three Little Pigs upholds its seniority with consistently good food and great service. It holds nothing back when it comes to bacon, with its breakfast sets seeing generous servings of it piled on the plate. For a family-friendly environment and a dining experience that never disappoints, this is the place to be. It has also just recently opened a new branch in Tropicana City Mall, its expansion a toast to its steady popularity among KL's diners.
