We found 5 more all-day breakfast places that serve the good ol’ bacon and eggs until well past dinnertime for those who aren’t really morning people.

Despite what they’re called – breakfast – eggs, ham and bacon are food welcomed any time of the day as we’ve mentioned in Part 1 of our previous top 5 all-day breakfast places article. Catering to our unapologetic Malaysian penchant to eat even at the most inappropriate hours, we found 5 more all-day breakfast places that serve the good ol’ bacon and eggs until well past dinnertime for those who aren’t really morning people.

Quartet

A little hidden from view given its location, Quartet is a true gem if you manage to locate it along Lorong Datuk Sulaiman 7 in TTDI. What we like best about its all-day brunch menu is how they have portions for the extremely hungry, or those just  looking for a snack. The steak sandwich can be quite a struggle to finish if you have a small appetite, in which case we would recommend the eggs royale that sees poached eggs complete with tantalising runny yolk dripping over thick slices of smoked salmon. Otherwise the French toast would stave any peckish pair of lips with fluffy toast coated in golden egg and drizzled with warm honey.

Fahrenheit 600

Fahrenheit 600's peculiar name is a tribute to the wood-fire pizzas it is renowned for -- its oven, which is imported all the way from the US, functions at only one temperature, 600 Fahrenheits, resulting in its special crispy-on-the-outside-fluffy-on-the-inside crust. Beginning early this year, the place has begun serving all-day breakfast that is also prepared in the same way as the rest of its menu -- nothing deep-fried or microwaved, and only baked with olive oil. Go for its eggs benedict which sees perfectly poached eggs sitting atop thick slices of beef bacon. Otherwise, its big breakfast comes with homemade sausages, golden hashbrown and generous servings of baked beans for the extra energy boost.

Rondaevoo

This new addition to the Bandar Sri Damansara neighbourhood looks like a promising new hang-out spot for the residents in the area. It specialises in wholesome, nutritious recipes that try to keep the ingredients used as close to its natural state as possible. In other words, no processed or frozen foods, only fresh, organic produce. Its all-day breakfast allows you to choose how your eggs are done, be it sunny-side-up, poached, scrambled or whipped into an omellete and comes with its own home-made chicken meatloaf. Sauteed mushrooms and baked potatoes complete the set, keeping to the restaurant's promise of no processed meats. The coffee served at Rondaevoo are all fair-trade too.

Talent Lounge

It's a bit difficult to pinpoint exactly what kind of place Talent Lounge is. It isn't just a restaurant per se although it does serve up some really good all-day breakfast. Its space also transforms into a training centre, event venue, art showcase launchpad or anything at all you need it to be. When you do go there for the food though, you won't be disappointed as its menu is crafted by Sarawakian-born Chef Chef Shaik Rhyszard. His baked eggs are a crowd favourite, especially when he prepares them with a ratatouille base, as are his smoked salmon and quinoa combos that manage to be both tasty and healthy.

The Morning After

If there's one word to describe The Morning After's breakfast sets, it would be 'hearty'. Nothing is plain here as illustrated by its omelette, which is stuffed with chicken strips, mushrooms, peppers and cheese, on top of being served with buttered toast and roasted potatoes. The rest of the menu follows the same example -- its sunny-side up eggs come with corned beef and spiced potatoes whilst its eggs benedict comes with additional alfalfa sprouts and baby spinach as well as a side of crisps. Thankfully, its surrounding ambience is nothing as in-your-face, with clean, minimalist decor that banks in on wide open spaces.
