Tujo recently updated its kitchen and bar, introducing new premium cuts for the grill, a raclette station, an oyster bar, a DIY Bloody Mary bar and Malaysian-inspired cocktails.

Three years since its launch, Tujo at Ascott Residences now refreshes its interior and F&B lineup with a whole list of welcoming features.

The restaurant and bar now sports a bright tropical glasshouse concept, allowing for an air of calm amidst the Kuala Lumpur concrete jungle.

In the food department, Tujo sports a new selection of premium cuts such as a 1.3kg sanchoku wagyu tomahawk from Australia, a new raclette station with the works, as well as an new oyster bar.

A large variety of mains and light eats including kuro squid ink pasta, lemon pepper halibut, Korean-style chicken wings and more also made the cut.

When it comes to drinks, the bar introduces 16 new "Malaysiana" cocktails, playing on familiar flavours in Malaysian cuisine and giving them an alcoholic twist.

Diners can expect drinks like Hang Li Mau, a rum-based cocktail with calamansi, lime juice and gula Melaka, or ABC (alcoholic batu campur), that features tequila and Irish cream liquer. 

Even with 16 new cocktails, the bar team goes out of their way with a new DIY Bloody Mary bar with 21 garnishes and condiments to choose from.
