A popular pizzeria in Bangsar is hiring a local artist to create Valentine's Day doodles on-site

Valentine's Day isn't just for love birds. The millennium-old tradition is also cause to celebrate intimate relations at home, in the office or, as evidenced by Phil's Pizza, at restaurants. This upcoming collaboration between Phil's Pizza and artist Sofia Shamsunahar is a heart-warming example of friendship blossoming between a customer and a restaurant.

For three days only on February 13, 14 and 15, 2021, Shamsunahar will create a hand-drawn Valentine's Day card for every order of a heart-shaped pizza.

"Sofia is a customer who absolutely loves our pizza," commented Sara Rashid, co-founder of Phil's Pizza. "Besides being someone who believes in our brand, she's all-round talented. I believe that restaurants can be a platform to uplift other creatives."

Says Phillip Dominic, chef-proprietor at Phil's Pizza and the restaurant's namesake: "It was all Sara's idea. She likes working with local talents and I feel the joy too. Did we mention that every drawing will be unique?"
