Come April, Vasco's at Hilton Kuala Lumpur will be serving a scrumptious spread of crab dishes cooked in a robust array of international flavours.

Whether you’re a pescatarian or simply love a finger-lickin’ good meal, the Crab Chowdown buffet at Hilton KL’s all-day dining restaurant has something for every diner. From April 1-30, 2019, Vasco's will be whipping up fresh crabs and roe responsibly sourced from the coast of Sarawak and straits of Johor, in the flavours of Indian, Malay, Chinese and Japanese.

The dinner buffet centres around 4 species of the crustacean, namely the blue swimmer crab, flower crab, baby crab and soft-shell crab. To begin, sample cold starters like flower crabs on ice, crab salmon rolls and kerabu ketam with avocado. Fire up the tongue at a tom yam cooking station, showcasing the succulent versatility of fresh white crabmeat.

Chinese-style renditions include the kam heong crab, stir-fried chili crab, and braised in soup, while Malay flavours feature a crab and pineapple stew cooked in coconut gravy, and crispy baby crab. Over at the Indian section, aromatic and spice-laden crabs are cooked in Goan curry, a Chettinad infusion, and grilled to tandoori perfection.
