A night of charitable goodwill couldn’t have been more festive than the annual fundraising concert by Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur area director of communications Dato’ Rosemarie Wee and Malaysia Tatler managing director Florence Fang. The pair once again threw a Golden Oldies Charity Concert with performances by renowned American artists Johnny Tillotson and Brian Hyland to raise funds for four children with life-threatening heart diseases. Society’s generous hearts and major contributors like Datuk Kelvin Tan, Dato' Sri Yap Teiong Choon, Dato' Kevin Yong and Datin Usha Nair were there in full support. The event was also graced with the presence of guests of honour His Majesty, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, Her Majesty Sultanah Haminah Hamidun and HRH Sultanah Kalsom.
