Every year, Dato’ Rosemarie Wee incorporates bouts of singing and dancing at her birthday celebration dinner—a tradition her friends look forward to with gusto. This year was no different because guests like Elizabeth Marini, Molly Lim and Chan Yue Yee found it hard to refuse when she asked them to sing karaoke onstage and dance the joget at her birthday dinner at The Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur. She even convinced her talented friends Chan Mo Lin, Datin Maylene Yong, Donne Ray Radford and Dato' Seri Toh Puan Noor Suzanna Abdullah to perform onstage as entertainment while other guests tucked into a scrumptious buffet dinner. At the cake cutting part of the celebration, the kindhearted PR doyenne then announced she had arranged for cakes to be prepared for her other friends born in May as well, such as Mo Lin, Dr Ann Chan, Dr Becky Leogardo, Puan Sri Mae Cheng, Datin Maggie Teh and Dato’ Seri Dr Victor Wee.
