KIP Hotel Kuala Lumpur officially opened its doors in a grand opening celebration following a soft launch to handful members of the media the month before.

The celebration began with a cocktail reception where guests like Dato' Chew Lak Seong, Dato' Eric Loo and Datin Christina Thian were treated to a lion dance performance followed by the lighting of firecrackers.

KIP Group executive director Dato' Eric Ong, wife Datin Kate Ong and daughter and director Valerie Ong were among those leading the ribbon cutting ceremony, a Chinese tradition that is believed will bring prosperity.
