Against a colourful neon-lit backdrop, the Shiseido Professional Beauty Innovator Award 2019 showcased the remarkable talents of hairstylists from Malaysia and Singapore. Almost like a performance theatre, the stylists went all out to wow the audience - Derek Chu of Philo Hair Studio was named the winner of one of the top prizes of the evening, Salon Creation. The ceremony was enlivened by the presence of such celebrities as Tony Eusoff and Siti Saleha, as well as prominent personalities in hairstyling like A Cut Above's Datin Winnie Loo and Shiseido Professional's ambassador, Raymond Choon.
