It was a night to remember for 30 inspiring individuals who made the cut to be featured on the Gen. T 2019 List in Malaysia, as we feted them to a private dinner at the W Hotel Kuala Lumpur. During the intimate four-course dinner, Lily Ong, Editor of Generation T Malaysia, announced the Gen.T List's expansion from local to regional, recognising 400 of the brightest innovators across Asia. This year’s honourees, including Prabakaran Parameswaran, Shila Amzah and Siew Yuen Tuck, were delighted to receive custom Gen.T issues with their profiles on the cover. Also, enlivening the night with their presence were our Tatler Tribe members, a panel of industry leaders like Datuk Mazlan Othman, Azran Osman Rani and Lee Jim Leng.
After the first course, Tamara Lamunière, Head of Generation T Asia, invited guests to the inaugural Gen.T Asia Summit in November, which will bring together the continent’s most influential leaders. In the spirit of creating a purpose-driven platform, managing director of Edipresse Media Malaysia, Florence Fang, did the honours of introducing our Tatler Tribe member, Hartini Zainudin, children's rights activist and founder of Yayasan Chow Kit, who delivered a moving speech about the power of education in changing children’s lives.
