After a 7-year redevelopment, Hotel Equatorial Group reopened its flagship property in Kuala Lumpur under a new catchy name, EQ. The official opening, held at the Diamond Ballroom, saw the attendance of such prominent names in sport and high society such as Datuk Nicol David and husband-and-wife Dato' Sri Jeffrey Raymond and Datin Sri Joyce Raymond. It kicked off with a speech from CEO Donald Lim and general manager Robert Lagerwey before guests tucked into a delicious spread. The party then continued at Blue, its swanky rooftop bar that is gaining popularity with city folks.
