Past and present IWC's pilot's watches made a rare appearance together in Kuala Lumpur in an exhibition organised by the Schaffhausen manufacture and its local retail partner, Swiss Watch Gallery. The 15m x 20m aviation-inspired booth was a sight to behold largely thanks to an exact replica of the vintage Silver Spitfire fighter jet that hovers over it. Among the watch highlights were two latest Spitfire editions and the first ever IWC pilot's watch from 1936. About 250 guests were invited to witness the opening that also saw the presence of IWC's board member and avid pilot's watch collector Hannes Pantli as well as Stanislas Rambaud, IWC's managing director of Southeast Asia. The exhibition ends on 9 July, 2019.
