Twelve students of the Kuala Lumpur Speakers’ Club 53^rd Public Speaking class presented their best speech yet as part of their graduation ceremony held at the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. Each lady glowed in her moment onstage, artfully reciting tatler_stories laced with nostalgia, emotion and even side-splitting humour, demonstrating skills honed under the tutelage of their instructor Jagdish Bhain. The annual occasion was graced by guest of honour Tunku Ampuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani, who also presented the diplomas together with the club’s President, Tunku Dara Naquiah. This year’s graduates chose to call themselves the ‘Soul Weavers’ to define the unique bond formed through topics closest to their hearts.
