After months of anticipation, Louis Vuitton reopens its Starhill Gallery boutique as the first global store in Malaysia.The cocktail affair saw the A-listers of Malaysia’s high society in the likes of Shirieene Hajamaideen, Datuk Nicol David, Dato’ Bernard Chandran and Tengku Zatashah relishing in the new space.
The interior décor is made with over 50 types of materials such as eel skin, ceruse oak in gold leaf and hand knotted carpets, while the lighting was done by l’Observatoire International New York. The new global store also welcomes the unique Louis Vuitton made-to-order service called haute maroquinerie; Kuala Lumpur is the 26th outlet in the world to offer this exclusive service.
