Prolific designer Michael Kors made a special trip to the Lion City to celebrate the opening of his new flagship store at Mandarin Gallery on Orchard Road, touted to be the largest store in Southeast Asia, measuring almost 7,000 square feet.The opening saw guests like such as Singapore’s own Jeanette Aw, Fann Wong, Australian model Jessica Gomes, Thai actress Praya Lundberg, and Malaysia’s Marion Caunter, Jojo Goh, Deborah Henry and Kavita Sidhu.Kate Hudson’s arrival together with Michael Kors signalled the start of the event. Kors also received a most prestigious honour, of an orchid being named after him. The party adjourned to CUT by Wolfgang Puck at Marina Bay Sands, where a superb dinner awaited.
