In conjunction with the debut of Swiss watchmaker Jaquet Droz’s latest Magic Lotus Automaton novelty timepiece, Swiss Watch Gallery organised an intimate dinner party centred around the Zen garden motif handcrafted into the watch’s dial. There to greet each arrival were hosts from both companies, Ashvin Valiram and Christian Lattman, CEO of Jaquet Droz, who encouraged guests to participate in a sake tasting masterclass and an origami folding activity before dinner started. In between courses, attendees like Dato’ Sri Jeffrey Raymond, Dato’ Dr Kenneth Chin and Alan Wong stopped by the watch display to view the Magic Lotus Automaton up close.
