The Women's Centre for Change (WCC) Penang celebrated its 30th anniversary with a fundraising dinner that saw 700 guests show up in attendance.

Silent auctions underlined the itinerary of the event that saw exquisite  jewellery pieces from Amee Philips and Suen Jewellery as well as holiday packages by Four Seasons Resort Langkawi go on bid.

A dinner followed that saw comedian Harith Iskander perform, leaving guests like Penang Chief Minister YB Lim Guan Eng, Dato' Ruby Khong and Dato' Seri Nazir Ariff in stitches at his jokes.

The event managed to raise over RM500,000 to aid in WCC's constant efforts to stop violence against women.
