2014 was also a busy year for birthdays that were celebrated in all colours, forms and spirits.

On top of weddings, charities and new openings taking place, 2014 was also a busy year for birthdays. Datin Winnie Loo was among the first to celebrate a birthday in January, with a hats extravaganza party. Dato' Rosemarie Wee too had a grand celebration in May that involved quirky headgears and accessories -- wigs and moustaches in her case. Tunku Alaynna celebrated her 7th birthday in June with an adorable 'Despicable Me 2'-themed party. In the same month, Datin Seri Dato' Habibah Yusof also turned a year older in a Hermes-themed birthday party. August saw back-to-back celebrations of Valerie Ong's 26th at The Point followed by Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew's 60th at Palace of the Golden Horses. Most recently Puan Sri Kamelia Kadir celebrated her big 5-0 in November with a fun-filled Brazilian-themed party called 'Samba Rumba'.
