Gen.T partnered with Teach For China and the United Nations Development Programme to host a trio of keynotes on social responsibility

For our Connect To Change event in China, we partnered with Teach For China and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to host a trio of keynotes on the topic "Youth Responsibility And Social Innovation" at New York University Shanghai. The goal of the evening was to raise awareness and aid the charity in its recruitment efforts—Teach For China recruits top graduates and places them in underserved schools around the country in two-year teaching fellowships.

Philanthropist and Gen.T honouree Wendy Yu was joined by UNDP representative Cherie Tse and Teach For China’s Abby Qi, all of whom discussed the future of education and the importance of social responsibility. Yu, who sits on the Teach For China board, had recently visited one of the charity's schools in the rural province of Yunnan, and highlighted the importance of donating our time towards furthering education as well as being open to sharing experiences with others.
