See what happened when we unveiled the 30 Hong Kong honourees on the Gen.T List 2021 at the Leaders of Tomorrow list launch event at Rosewood Hong Kong

We revealed the 30 Leaders of Tomorrow from Hong Kong on the Gen.T List 2021 at an exclusive event at Rosewood Hong Kong.

The 30 Leaders of Tomorrow connected with the other members of their cohort over dinner, and also met members of the Tribe, the panel of industry experts who help us vet the list.

The 2021 Gen.T honourees at the dinner included Dash Living founder Aaron Lee; Snapask founder Timothy Yu, Preface founder Tommie Lo, artist Claudia Chanhoi and Neurum Health founder Megan Lam.

They were joined by existing members of the Gen.T community, including Black Sheep Restaurants co-founder Syed Asim Hussain, Klook co-founder Eric Gnock Fah, Olympic Swimmer Stephanie Au, app investigator Jane Manchun Wong and Goxip co-founder Juliette Gimenez.

During dinner, guests enjoyed a performance from comedian Vivek Mahbubani, who had the audience laughing throughout his set. Later, Lee Williamson, Gen.T's regional editorial director, hosted a fireside chat with Prenetics co-founder Danny Yeung. During the discussion, which took place on the night Yeung announced that Prenetics was to be listed on the Nasdaq, making it the first Hong Kong unicorn to be publicly listed, the duo discussed passion, resilience and what the new honourees can expect from the Gen.T community.

Also in the programme, Gen.T presented awards to the 2021 winners of the Gen.T x Credit Suisse Social Impact Awards, which recognise honourees on the Gen.T List using technology for positive social impact at scale. Among this year’s winners, four were from Hong Kong: Max Song, Brandon Ng, William Yeung and Kingsley Leung were honoured on the night.
