Horologists rejoice, your perfect follow has arrived! Hong Kong’s Austen Chu loved posting about watches so much that he built an entire business about timepieces, Wristcheck. Now you and the rest of his 124,000 Instagram fans of wearable ticktocks have a place to ogle some extremely pretty gears in motion.

So it is written, the geek shall inherit the earth, or at least the internet. Once the domain of convention subculture, cosplay is now a global mainstream phenomenon with honourees like Malaysia’s Hakken loving the limelight. On their Instagram, the Tokyo Tourism ambassador dazzles their 76,100 followers with incredible recreations of characters from anime, manga and video games. And boy, does them make them look good.
