Rashvin Pal Singh
The first year Rashvin co-founded the Biji-Biji Initiative with his friends, using a power-tool itself was a struggle for him, let alone designing sustainable machinery and promoting its adoption for everyday use. Today, he’s the one asking the tough questions that keep this social enterprise on its toes to champion sustainable living; whether by teaching people the 21st century skills of reusing energy and recycling waste at their new Me.reka Makerspace education centre or building greener products and making them open-source (all on a meticulously tight budget). In an average day, Rashvin bounces back and forth between meetings, dealing with financial concerns and enthusiastic discussions with his 50-strong creative team of engineers, designers, artists and other talented mavericks.
