Moving your body is essential in destroying harmful pathogens. But any exercise done for 75 minutes or longer at a high intensity causes a spike in hormones, which can compromise the immune system. So a balance of low and high intensity is key.

Zinc may help shorten the lifespan of the common cold as well as support the immune cells' activities, while vitamin D may protect against respiratory infections. For a peace of mind, replenishing vitamin C is a great way to increase flagging energy levels.
