The luxury brand of the Hansgrohe Group AXOR has long established itself as one of the trailblazers in the sanitary ware industry, earning accolades for its mixers and showers that set the benchmark with their unique designs. After all, the products are the fruit of collaboration with world-class designers. And one of such lovely AXOR collections is the AXOR One by Barber and Osgerby, which – to our delight – has recently expanded to include a hand shower. Here are 3 main reasons why we are in love with the new addition.

It is designed by Barber and Osgerby.

The name Barber and Osgerby is enough to turn heads. Over the years, the award-winning design duo has applied their visionary touch on everything from furniture to installation and is arguably most recognised for the London Olympic Torch and the Vitra Tip Ton chair they designed. The AXOR One hand shower is the latest to top their long list of distinction.

 It makes a design statement.

We wouldn’t expect any less from Barber and Osgerby. Just like the rest of the collection first launched back in 2015, this hand-held shower fuses angles and curves perfectly into one entity. In fact, it is about simplicity – or “without artistic opulence” as Head of AXOR marketing Silke Giessier prefers to put it. The minimalistic masterpiece can be further customised with the AXOR FinishPlus individualisation service which offers finishes from subdued chrome to a bold red-gold.

It turns bathrooms into home spas.

The AXOR One hand-held shower comes with two spray types. A 90-degree turn of its retaining element allows for a selective neck or head massage with the revitalising waterfall spray type. For body cleansing, the AXOR One hand-held shower offers another soothing spray type that can be selected easily and intuitively by the push of a button.
