The catchy lyrics from Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon’s newly launched music video ‘The Sounds of Travelling Well’ are sure to capture the viewer’s attention in just a few seconds!

And we believe, that’s exactly what the airline is going for.

Giving viewers a different perspective on travelling well, the song and music video is created by recording sounds that you come across while travelling and goes with the sublime message of exploring, not just with our eyes, but with all our senses and in this instance, through sound.

Starring Bella Kuan, the video created by Fuse Asia takes viewers from the check-in counter of Kuala Lumpur International Airport to the busy streets of Hong Kong, complete with blinking traffic lights and passing trams. A few seconds later, you miraculously find yourself amongst the temples of Kyoto followed by a culinary adventure to Osaka's many street food stalls.

While there are several travel vlogs out there that deserve a watch, what makes Sounds of Travelling Well so unique is that it captures both visuals and the daily buzz of sounds all in one melodious creation, completing the #lifewelltravelled experience.

The music in the video is a representation of thousands of travel sounds, both quirky and smooth. Whether it is the simple zipping of a bag, the thunderous noise of an airplane take off or the ringing of bells in the temples of Japan - the musical cacophony is enough to get you excited for your next globetrotting adventure.

“We hope that this will inspire our travellers to discover the beauty of travelling well from a whole new perspective,” says Anna Choi the Cathay Pacific Country Manager Malaysia and Brunei.

To complement the campaign, the airline will also be running a contest across 4 weeks especially open to Malaysian citizens/residents. To participate,  you need to record the most memorable sounds you come across when you travel and share it on Facebook. Winners of the contest stand a chance to win a pair of flight tickets to a destination within Asia.

The contest ends on August 21, 2017.
