Sands Macao practices "Earth Hour Every Month", switiching off all non-essential lights for an hour on the first Tuesday of each month.  

It can’t be said that integrated resorts operator Sands China isn’t doing its part for Mother Nature. For the last 10 consecutive years, all exterior lights and non-essential indoor lights have been duly shut off at across all its hotel properties, from the Sands Macao, to the Venetian Macao, the Plaza Macao, Sands Cotai Central and The Parisian Macao.
