From June 4 to August 28, the Singapore Art Museum will open its doors to a special exhibition based on the seven seas and what lies beneath.

Odyssey: Navigating Nameless Seas will feature commissioned and loaned artworks from a host of contemporary artists who will present their vision of the unexplored depths of the oceans.

Visitors will get to see art pieces like ‘Algahest’ by Pratchaya Phinthong – a moveable window made of acrylic, enclosed with sand, water, and air; and also the very contemporary display of ‘A Short History of Man and Animal’ by Richard Streitmatter Tran.

The exhibition will open from Saturdays to Thursdays, from 10.00am to 7.00pm, and on Fridays from 10.00am to 9.00pm. Entry fees are $10 for adults, and $5 for students and senior citizens, while children under six can enter for free.
