Could this be Malaysia’s most Instagrammable bookstore? Officially opened in October 2019, BookXcess Sunsuria Forum at 7th Avenue, Setia Alam boasts the first-ever book tunnel concept bookstore in Malaysia, spanning a generous 16,000sf.

The new bookstore has captured the imaginations of book lovers everywhere with its staggering selection and intriguing interior design.

At the entrance itself, a towering circular bookshelf forms an awe-inspiring tunnel through which visitors can enter.

If books and coffee are your idea of an afternoon well spent, find both at BookXcess Sunsuria Forum, where an in-store café offers a variety of sweet treats and premium coffee.

The bookstore also features a work station, plenty of reading nooks to curl up with a good book and a mini-maze in the children’s section.

Also at the children’s section and exclusively for BookXcess are Magical Books featuring 15 titles – from Little Red Riding Hood to The Night Before Christmas – each incorporated with Augmented Reality to create an immersive, interactive reading experience for young ones in the store.

Designed to cultivate a love of books in the local community, the new bookstore is also home to a Red Readerhood corner, where customers are encouraged to donate books to 2 children's homes: Cahaya Kasih Bestari and Rumah Amal Bistari.

BookXcess will match each donation as part of its nation-wide initiative to spread the love of reading.
