Aman's sister hotel concept, Janu, will offer a more fun, less secluded but no less luxurious experience to travellers
Luxury hotel Aman has announced that it will be launching a sister brand, Janu. While sharing Aman's philosophy of exceptional design that's deeply rooted in each property's respective destinations, Janu will offer its guests a more lively, less secluded luxury travel experience.

Many of Aman’s properties are designed in a way that any interaction with other guests is minimal, if not non-existent. Janu differs from Aman with an emphasis on connectedness and community with an approach they’ve coined as “social wellness”. This includes group-focused fitness classes and public spaces “designed in a way that will encourage connectedness between guests".
Janu will also have larger room counts compared to Aman’s more limited, boutique-style offerings, and a lower—though still premium—price point.
“We saw a white space in the market, and we want to push the hotel industry into a new sphere,” says chairman and CEO Vladislav Doronin. “What with today’s modern fast-paced society, which has seen human connection and communication redefined by the digital world, we wanted to create a new hotel brand with a soul and with the aim of kick-starting human interaction again.”
