Combining a variety of acts such as K-Pop stars and alternative local bands, KL Jamm 2019 brings together a diverse lineup for music enthusiasts and doubles as a platform for rising musicians from April 26 to April 28.

Watching live music is truly an amplified experience compared to karaoke-ing in the car. But listening to your favourite songs played by the talents right in front of you - now that's the ultimate experience, awaiting you at KL Jamm 2019. 

Dubbed one of Asia’s premier international music festivals in Malaysia, KL Jamm is organised by Music Unlimited International at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. Here's some of the questions you might have about the festival, answered.

1. KL Jamm is more than a concert

KL Jamm is not solely about concerts; it is also a valuable trade event to stimulate growth of the digital and live music business in the Asia Pacific region. The festival gathers regional and local artistes, music industry professionals, fans and associated industries across the Asia Pacific region.

We cannot emphasise more on the lineup of great talents. There will be a total of 11 concerts including Re-Jamm (consist of Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin and Afdlin Shauki)and Kartel (consist of Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, Alif, Yung Raja, Faris Jabba, Ila Damiaa and Abubakarxli).

KL Jamm International Music Festival comprises of several components including Symposium, Exhibition, Showcases and Live Concert. These components are designed to encourage and increase collaboration amongst the creative and business communities to create a vibrant music eco-system.

The symposium component “FORUMUZIK”, provides a venue for key industry players to share success stories, issues and solutions to embrace changes in the industry landscape while capitalising on the spirit of collaboration to adopt the world’s best industry practices.

4. Developing music tourism with regional exchanges of music and culture

With artistes from South Korea, China Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and other countries Southeast Asia region performing on the stage, expect fans from the region to fly down to Kuala Lumpur to attend the festival.
