Grammy Awards 2021 will happen on March 15, Monday at 8am (MYT), and amongst several firsts, BTS also makes history as the first South Korean group to be nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

It's Grammys season again. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the show will go on in a mix of live and in-person appearances in an undisclosed venue in Los Angeles with health protocols and social distancing measures in place. The music awards show will be gracing us with a star-studded roster of some of the best in the industry.

To prepare you for the upcoming 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, we listed the answers to some of your most pressing Grammys 2021 questions.

1. Where to watch

The Grammys 2021 will take place from 8am (MYT) on March 15, 2021. Those looking to watch online can check out the live stream on Recording Academy's Facebook and on the official website, Grammys.com. It will also be available on YouTube TV. Those who choose to watch on TV can tune in to Fox Life (Astro CH 703; Unifi TV CH 455), with a repeat telecast at 8pm on the same day.

2. Who are the nominees

Key nominees for the 2021 Grammys include Beyoncé who has nine nominations including two Record of the Year nominations. Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Roddy Ricch each have six nominations. Ricch, this year's leading male nominee, gained nods for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Leading the major categories, Dua Lipa gets a nomination for Record of the Year and Album of the Year with Swift also getting an Album of the Year nod as well as Song of the Year. New Artist nominees include Ingrid Andress, Phoebe Bridgers, D Smoke, Noah Cyrus, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion.

In the pop category, BTS makes history as the first South Korean group to be nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. From the Best Pop Vocal Album nominations, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Harry Styles make the list.

Meanwhile, in the rock category, Phoebe Bridgers is nominated for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. For the R&B category, Beyoncé nabbed a nomination for Best R&B Performance while duo Chloe X Halle received a Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Progressive R&B Album nominations.

In the rap category, D Smoke gets a Best Rap Album nomination while Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyoncé get Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance nominations.

3. Who are the performers

A twenty-plus strong list of performers include heavyweights such as Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Cardi B and Dua Lipa. K-pop superstars and first-time nominees, BTS will also be gracing the stage.

While the event format is still under wraps, we can expect to smash performances from the star-studded line-up of the music industry's finest.

4. Who will be the host and presenters

One-time Grammy nominee and host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah will be hosting the music awards show.

In addition to that, the employees of the Troubadour and The Hotel Café in Los Angeles, the Apollo Theatre in New York and The Station Inn in Nashville will present the awards throughout the night as a tribute to independent music venues that have been impacted by Covid-19.

5. What else to know

Prior to the awards ceremony, the Recording Academy is also hosting a charity virtual concert for those impacted by Covid-19 in the music industry, titled Music on a Mission. It will take place on March 13, 9am MYT. Performers include BTS, Haim, H.E.R, Jhene Aiko, John Legend, Usher and many more.

For Grammy Week, several nominees and past winners also donated items and experiences for a charity auction with proceeds going to the Grammy Museum Foundation and its music education initiatives. BTS' Life Goes On outfits headline the auction among other donations from Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.
