Infiniti QX70 Ultimate

Under the hood there's the choice of a petrol or diesel V6 mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

Infiniti's new QX70 Ultimate will meet the desires of even the most demanding potential owners when it goes on sale following its September 15 reveal.

The ‘standard' QX70 isn't exactly lacking for comfort, performance or exclusivity, but as competition hits fever pitch at the premium end of the SUV market, the luxury Japanese marque is leaving nothing to chance.

"The QX70 has long struck a chord with buyers seeking something exceptional but the Infiniti QX70 Ultimate is designed to respond to the most exclusive needs and desires of buyers," said François Goupil de Bouillé, Vice President of Infiniti Europe, Middle East and Africa.

So the new car gets dark chrome front and rear accents, new 21-inch alloy wheels and LED running lights on the outside. Under the hood there's the choice of a petrol or diesel V6 mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. And inside, surfaces boast a black lacquer finish and the seats soft leather with contrasting purple stitching.
Just exactly what the cabin looks like won't be revealed until the Frankfurt motor show, but with prices starting at €70,000 (arounf RM341, 360) it will need to be on a par with a Range Rover or Volvo XC90.
