The MC20 Is Maserati's First Sports Car In 15 Years
The highly-anticipated MC20 was unveiled yesterday and is its first supercar in 15 years. Available in a convertible or electric form, the new supercar is built with lightweight carbon fibre and showcased in six finishes ranging from the Bianco Audace's iridescent blue undertones to the stunning molten metal hues of the Grigio Mistero, all coupled with butterfly doors that unfurl elegantly.
Endowed with the ground-breaking V6 twin turbo petrol engine called Nettuno, it comes with pre-chamber combustion system that is no different from a Formula 1 race car. A twin-spark system composed of traditional and lateral spark plugs allows for constant combustion reduces noise while driving; at the same time, it also improves fuel economy and reduces emission without compromising performance.
The cabin is luxuriously kitted with Alcantara leather seats decked with laser-generated textural effects. Amplifying the driving experience is a high-resolution screen attached to the infotainment system that is complemented with, in true Italian style, renowned acoustic speakers by Sonus Faber.
Put it simply, the Maserati MC20 promises a sweet ride like no other.
