C-Class Coupe

Staying true to form of all of the German automaker’s Coupé’s, all three variants of the C-Class – the C 200, C 250 and C 300 – are distinctively sportier on the outside, inside and under the hood.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially pulled the covers off of the all-new C-Class Coupé with the help of former Formula One driver, David Coulthard. Staying true to form of all of the German automaker’s Coupé’s, all three variants of the C-Class – the C 200, C 250 and C 300 – are distinctively sportier on the outside, inside and under the hood.

Externally, the 2-door car looks like its been expertly carved out of aluminium with lines that work a double shift for good looks and aerodynamics. Top that off with Mercedes’ diamond radiator grille and either 18-inch or 19-inch AMG multi spoke alloy wheels and you’ve got yourself a car that will earn stares and envy.

The seamless design carries on inside where the multi-coloured upholstery with colour combinations between black, brown and porcelain gives the interior the feel of a classic hot rod. But with all the technology strewn across the centre-console, steering wheel, dashboard and door panels, the C-Class Coupé is anything but classic. Along with the now standard connectivity features, the car offers a top of the line Burmester sound system that comes standard with the C 250 and C 300.

Under the hood, the C-Class Coupé is built for premium performance with a 4-cylinder, 2-litre engine coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission taking the car from 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds, 6.8 seconds and 6 seconds for the C 200, C 250 and C 300 respectively. DYNAMIC SELECT also returns to the fleet, allowing drivers to switch between five driving modes with ease.

But because making a car faster just isn’t enough, they’ve made it safer as well. ATTENTION ASSIST warns the driver of inattentiveness and drowsiness, while COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS provides proximity warning, additional audible collision warning, and includes Adaptive Brake Assist, which can help prevent front-end and rear-end collisions with autonomous brakes.

The Mercedes C-Class Coupé retails on-the-road at RM308,888 for the C 200, RM333,888 for the C 250 and RM388,888 for the C 300.
