This weekend, drop by the Auchentoshan pop-up bar or visit one of the six newly opened restaurants and bars.

If you’ve never been brave enough to mix premium Scotch whisky into a cocktail concoction, then this weekend could be your one and only chance to have someone else do it for you. And because no weekend would be complete without food and shopping, we’ve thrown in some new eats and new boutiques for good measure.

Here are our suggestions for this weekend:

EAT: New Openings

We’re always on the lookout for new openings and amongst them this month is a bar with a view and a Japanese restaurant in a salt cave. Here are the 5.

EAT: Manja

Another new opening that just so happens to be tried and tested by us is Manja. Try out the Wagyu Gula Melaka or Bayam Escargot at this new eatery in Old Malaya, Lorong Raja Chulan.

DRINK: Auchentoshan Cocktails

What happens when you use premium single malt scotch whisky to make a cocktail? Well you can drop by Auchentoshan’s pop-up bar at WIP to find out.

BUY: dUCk Scarves

Moving from the digital world to the real world, dUCk Scarves has opened its first store in Pavilion KL. Now you can feel the scarves and try them on before you buy them.

BUY: Corum watches

While all other watchmakers dress up their bezel and dials, Corum’s Bubble Watch has a unique dome shaped sapphire crystal. Check out the new collection.

Another idea: If you're heading out for a coffee run, check out the Starbucks Signing Store, managed by the deaf.
