This weekend will see the annual Standard Chartered KL Marathon taking to the streets of Kuala Lumpur. If you're not quite the runner, there's a violin concerto by renowned Austrian violinist  David Frühwirth taking place at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

RUN: Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2015

The most popular marathon in the country will be taking to the streets again in the wee hours of 4 October 2015. If you managed to sign up for it, run safe, stay hydrated and always remember to listen to your body. WATCH: Sibelius Violin Concerto with  David Frühwirth

Happening on 2 and 3 October at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Austrian violinist David Frühwirth will be bringing to life Sibelius’ famous 'Violin Concerto' as well as 'En Saga'. He will then close with the romantic, tuneful 'First Symphony' by Carl Nielsen.
