SPOT Community Women of Worth Forum

Here’s what to expect at SPOT Community’s inaugural Women of Worth Series: Sex Ed Forum. If you haven’t already heard of it, SPOT is said to be Malaysia’s only comprehensive sexuality education provider for girls, and this women-only forum at Triune @ KL Eco City will highlight the community’s experiences running sexuality education workshops across Malaysia.

The event will also see the launch of SPOTLINE, a volunteer-run 24/7 sexuality education call centre for the public. Click here to register.

Japanese Film Festival

Now in its 15th year of existence, the Japanese Film Festival in Malaysia will feature the classics of Japanese cinema like Kenji Mizoguchi’s ‘The Story of the Last Chrysanthemum’ as well as Yasujiro Ozu’s ‘Late Spring’ and ‘Early Summer’ at Pegawam Jalan Ampas. Cloud Gate Dance Theatre’s FORMOSA

Following its well-received 2017 premiere in Taipei, the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan’s FORMOSA went on to tour the United States and Europe shortly after. This month, FORMOSA makes its only Southeast Asian stop in Kuala Lumpur at Istana Budaya, co-organised by HANDS
