The theme for the evening, Shades of the Extraordinary, was expertly crafted by Hugo Belloy, the co-founder of Hong Kong-based experiential brand Surprise Surprise. The theme was the embodiment of the ball, emphasising excellence, celebration, community, culture and impact. Beautiful features designed and created for the ball included a striking orange-coloured carpet that welcomed guests and where they posed for photos; light installations, in the same shade, in the dining room; and a backdrop emblazoned with “Shades of the Extraordinary” that proved to be a popular spot for selfies.
Kicking off the evening with a rousing speech, Tatler Asia’s chairman and CEO Michel Lamunière expressed his gratitude to the inspiring attendees. He highlighted the transformation of Tatler from a high society magazine to a luxury brand with a purpose, reflecting and fulfilling the aspirations and needs of the most discerning individuals across the region, and also shared the mission behind Tatler Asia’s flagship campaign Asia’s Most Influential, the latest list of whom was revealed at the event.
