The latest expansion by luggage powerhouse Rimowa is a new collection of highly functional yet sleek designs—the brand’s signature recognisable grooves and structure are refreshed with a precise leather wrapping technique, resulting in an elegant suitcase that promises to hold its shape and features.

Since it’s conception in 1898, Rimowa has been crafting premium tools for professional travellers around the world. As travel requisites and demands have evolved over the years, so has the house’s designs that are engineered to suit those needs.
The Distinct line is a campaign that pays homage to Rimowa’s past use of leather, one that precedes its introduction of aluminium.
To celebrate the new launch, the German maison took its refreshed products to Musée Soulages, a modern art museum in France. There, it was photographed amongst the works of acclaimed printmaker and sculptor Pierre Soulages, a historic feat for Rimowa, as the first brand to put forth such a collaboration. The campaign also honours the abstract artist’s compositions and his craftsmanship—an intrinsic value shared by the maison.
