Joseph Yeoh is the Vice President of YTL Hotels & Properties Sdn Bhd and has brought unprecedented success and growth to the premium hospitality portfolio. He was involved in brokering a deal for three JW Marriotts in prime locations in Australia and spearheaded the redevelopment of the wholly-owned subsidiary Autodome Sdn Bhd to integrate the company with YTL Hotels. His extended role in Starhill Global REIT also strengthened the growth of YTL’s retail properties The Starhill and Lot 10 in Kuala Lumpur by increasing the malls’ occupancy and yield per sq ft and securing new anchor tenants such as H&M and Debenhams.

Yeoh also led the retail team in Kuala Lumpur in revitalising and transforming The Starhill into Home of the Tastemakers through an asset enhancement redevelopment programme. He also secured luxury brands exclusive to The Starhill including Malaysia’s first flagship boutiques of Balmain, Tom Ford, Paul&Shark and Philipp Plein, and new anchor tenant Eslite Spectrum, a renowned lifestyle bookstore from Taiwan and their first store in Southeast Asia.

To build on the Lot 10 positioning of Meet.Play.Love#Lot10, Yeoh was also instrumental in securing Malaysia’s first flagship store of JONETZ by Don Don Donki from Japan. Yeoh is also the vice president of YTL Land & Development Bhd and leads the group’s property portfolio in Singapore. His key responsibility is the acquisition and development of land in Singapore with the objective of increasing the company’s portfolio of luxury projects there.

Yeoh was also instrumental in guiding YTL Land through the acquisition of Westwood Apartments at Orchard Boulevard in Singapore to develop a new luxury freehold development 3 Orchard By-The-Park which was launched in 2017. He graduated from the University of Nottingham UK where he obtained a Bachelor of Law (Honours) Degree.
